Area Attractions

In addition to touring our sanctuary and meeting our 60+ animals, here are some highly recommended activities and eateries.

Only a few minutes from Red Robin Song are miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails (one within walking distance) as well as biking on the newly completed Empire State Trail (a 750 mile bike trail from NYC to Canada and Buffalo). There’s also a professional theater and chamber music right in town as well as apple picking a short drive away. Whatever you choose to do, we encourage you to visit our friends at four delicious eateries in Albany and Troy – Bare, Berben and Wolff’s Vegan Delicatessen, Burrito Burrito and Little Anthony’s.

Explore all the Berkshires has to offer – hiking, biking, Tanglewood, museums, historic sites and gardens, skiing, an “aerial park” – and savor great meals at Elixir in Great Barrington, Thrive Diner in Pittsfield and Kripalu in Stockbridge.

Explore three gorgeous 40 to 60 foot waterfalls and take in breakfast or lunch with our friends at Square One Café, a delicious vegan eatery in the center of Schenectady.

In addition, half an hour from Red Robin Song is one of the country’s premier yoga centers (Kripalu) and wellness centers (Canyon Ranch) both of which offer day passes.
